The Evaluation

A Complete Neuropathy Evaluation, Performed in Your Home

This is not a standard chiropractic examination. It is a comprehensive, in-home neuropathy evaluation designed to measure sensory loss, assess circulation-related temperature patterns, evaluate contributing metabolic factors, and determine whether you may be a candidate for care.

01

In-Depth Consultation

We begin by discussing your symptoms, health history, medications, lifestyle, previous testing, and how numbness, tingling, burning, weakness, or balance problems affect your daily life.

02

Thermal Imaging

A thermal camera evaluates temperature patterns that may provide information about circulation and differences between areas of the feet or lower extremities.

03

16-Point Neurosensory Examination

A detailed 16-point neurosensory examination measures sensory loss. The results allow us to document the percentage of sensory loss to two decimal places and establish a baseline for future comparisons.

04

Metabolic and Nitric Oxide Testing

Metabolic screening, including a nitric oxide test, helps identify factors that may affect circulation, nerve health, and the body's ability to recover.

05

Balance Testing

We evaluate balance and stability to determine how sensory loss may be affecting your safety, mobility, and fall risk.

06

Personalized Findings and Recommendations

We explain whether the findings are consistent with peripheral neuropathy, whether you may be a candidate for our neuropathy program, what factors may be contributing to the problem, and what a realistic improvement timeline may look like. You receive personalized recommendations designed to support nerve health, circulation, balance, and function.

  • Tingling or pins-and-needles
  • Burning discomfort
  • Cold feet
  • Poor balance or instability
  • Weakness
  • Difficulty walking

Frequently Asked Questions

What makes this different from buying neuropathy equipment online?+

Equipment alone does not establish why symptoms are present, how severe sensory loss may be, or whether your response is progressing. Dr. Gordon begins with a comprehensive in-home evaluation, measures your sensory loss to two decimal places, and monitors objective findings so your care can be adjusted over time.

What happens during the in-home neuropathy evaluation?+

The entire evaluation is performed comfortably while you remain seated in your own chair, in the privacy of your home. Dr. Gordon reviews your history and symptoms, performs thermal imaging, a 16-point neurosensory examination, metabolic and nitric oxide screening, and balance testing, then explains the findings and whether you may be a candidate for care.

Will the evaluation be uncomfortable or require special equipment in my home?+

No. The examination is gentle, non-invasive, and completed in your home. There is nothing to prepare and no strenuous testing—most patients simply relax in their favorite chair while each measurement is taken.

Can the evaluation tell me if my neuropathy can improve?+

The evaluation helps determine whether you may be a candidate for care, which factors may be contributing to your condition, and what degree and timeline of improvement may be realistic for you. Every patient is different, and no outcome can be guaranteed.

Do you work with diabetic neuropathy?+

Dr. Gordon evaluates patients with several forms of peripheral neuropathy, including symptoms associated with diabetes. This care complements—not replaces—medical management with your physician, and individual results vary.

What areas of Palm Beach County do you serve?+

In-home neuropathy evaluations are available throughout Palm Beach County, including Boca Raton, Delray Beach, Boynton Beach, Lake Worth Beach, Lantana, West Palm Beach, Wellington, Palm Beach Gardens, and nearby communities based on scheduling.
